The band name is spot on!

Manchester’s finest? Not in my opinion, but they had their moments!

Classic record of the 70’s. There’s not a bad song on it, even the weakest song is good! My favourite album by Wishbone Ash. It would definitely make my top 100 of all time.

Hawkwind – Space Ritual. United Artists, 1973.

A live double album recorded in Liverpool and Brixton. It has a large foldout sleeve and the records came in these printed inner sleeves.

Lenny of Motorhead fame was with the band at this time.

Gong – Camembert Electrique. 1971. This was one of Virgin Records earliest releases. It was a bargain promo release, released at the very cheap price of 50p in the UK (about a dollar at that time).

Hawkwind – X In Search of Space. 1971

This is Hawkwinds second album release. The original had a great die cut fold out sleeve. This is a later reissue on the EMI Fame label from the late 80’s.

The classic “Master of the Universe” is on this one! 👍

Girls At Our Best – Pleasure.

Original on the left, reissue on the right. The reissue was expanded to a double album (to include the bands 4 singles), and also came on this lovely yellow splatter vinyl. I think it was ltd to 500 copies, but it could have been 1,000; I can’t remember now!

I say it every time I play this record, I need to listen to this record more often!
